Challenges:
Some states have expressed reservations about implementing the scheme, leading to delays in the release of funds under related programs like Samagra Shiksha. For instance, funds amounting to ₹330 crore, ₹515 crore, and ₹1,000 crore for Delhi, Punjab, and West Bengal respectively have been withheld due to non-implementation of PM SHRI.
